008: Stop Procrastinating with these Easy to Action Strategies

Procrastination makes easy things hard, and hard things harder

[Mason Cooley]

Tomorrow

If not now, when?

Someday. Later. Not yet. One day. Soon.

There’s always tomorrow.

But why not NOW?

It might be boring.
You might not feel like it.
You may not know how.

Overcome it, then take that critical first step.

It doesn’t have to be perfect.
Don’t let yourself feel overwhelmed.
And remember, you only fail if you don’t try.

Attack it, SuperMum. Then bask in the reward of achievement.

In this week’s episode of The Friday Café, Michelle Dawson and I talk about procrastination.

Listen to it NOW. Not tomorrow. Not next week. NOW.

Show Notes:

VIDEO: Tim Urban: Inside the mind of a master procrastinator. This won’t give you any answers, but it’s well worth a listen if you’re a procrastinator or know one. Hilarious! And watching it will buy you an extra 15 minutes before you have to get going with that task.

Lisa, we wanted to thank you for having us on your Podcast – it was truly an enjoyable experience. We so appreciated your insightful questions that enabled us to share more about how to heal after a difficult or traumatic birth. And thank you for caring so much about mums – it really shows in your podcasts, and we feel very grateful to have this opportunity to reach more women and share the message that birth trauma is real…AND that it is possible to heal. Much love, Melissa and Debby xx
