You can’t pour from an empty cup so fill your cup up and become the foundation of your family
Don’t be selfish.
Think of others.
We teach it to our kids all the time.
But when is being selfish not being selfish?
When you’re doing something for yourself that actually benefits others.
Because by finding the time to do something just for you, you’re giving your kids a much happier, more content and more engaged mum.
By being so-called selfish you’re actually being incredibly smart.

My challenge for this week is to book a pocket of time into your schedule to do something just for yourself. It can be anything. A yoga class or a swim. A trip to the coffee shop, just you and a book. A nice long walk to go back to nature. A relaxing massage. A bubble bath with a glass of champagne and an early night.
It doesn’t matter what it is, the important thing is you do it. Just do something.
And then see how it makes you feel. Has your attitude towards your kids, work, home or husband changed?
