048: Struggling to Find Someone to Turn To? Try Yourself | Lisa York

If you make friends with yourself, you’ll always have a friend

You’ve probably had moments where you hit rock bottom. I know I have.

You feel that if one more thing goes wrong, you’ll surely snap. And that’s all part of the job description when you’re a mum.

But who do you turn to?

Your husband. Your best friend. Your mum. Your sister.

Of course. They’re there to support you. But

A key person you can turn to, is you.

This week on High Five Friday, I talk about being your own best friend and your own greatest advocate.

I hope you enjoyed my conversation with Business Coach and Let’s Conquer Motherhood member Jessica Fearnley as much as I did. What did you think about what Jessica had to say about life with a baby? What was it like for you? Can you relate? I’d love to know. Lisa x
