018: Take Action and Get Things Done

An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory

It’s easy to wait until your kids are older.

It’s easy to wait until you have more spare time.

It’s easy to wait until you’ve ticked everything off your to-do list.

It’s easy to wait until you have the perfect plan in place.

But guess what?

That day will never come because the right moment doesn’t exist.

It’s really hard to start, but once you do, you’ll start to build momentum.

Remind yourself that every single thing you’ve ever achieved, however small, has been the result of taking action.

You have a choice.

You can do nothing. Or you can make a start.

In this weeks episode of The Friday Café, Michelle Dawson and I talk about one of my favourite subjects and something that is fundamental to achieving success. Taking action.

This weeks challenge:

My challenge for this week is to gain a deeper understanding of your goal and start to overcome the fear of achieving it by asking yourself these four questions:

What would my life would look like if I achieved my goal?

What makes me excited about my goal?

What’s the worst thing that can happen if I go ahead with my plan?

What would my life would look like if I don’t achieve my goal?

Please leave a comment:

Then tell me in the comments. What is your goal, and most importantly, what action will you take to fulfil it?

Hope you enjoy the show.

Now, Go Conquer Motherhood!

Lisa, we wanted to thank you for having us on your Podcast – it was truly an enjoyable experience. We so appreciated your insightful questions that enabled us to share more about how to heal after a difficult or traumatic birth. And thank you for caring so much about mums – it really shows in your podcasts, and we feel very grateful to have this opportunity to reach more women and share the message that birth trauma is real…AND that it is possible to heal. Much love, Melissa and Debby xx
