“I’m starting a podcast,” I announced.
“What the heck’s a podcast?’ came the resounding reply.
It was back in 2016, before podcasts were a ‘thing’, so as well as trying to get people to listen, I also had to explain what a podcast was.
But educate them I did, and The SuperMum Podcast was a great success, especially considering I was dipping my toe in the online business world for the first time.
143 Episodes.
Thousands of downloads.
Listeners couldn’t get enough of my accompanying emails.
I even promoted it avidly on Instagram and Facebook, which for me is a big deal (although, looking back, that’s where my dislike of social media was firmly cemented).
But although successful, there was one small problem.
Well, actually, from a business perspective it was a chuffing great big problem.
You see, as a solopreneur working by myself, the podcast took about 20 hours a week to create.
Sourcing, managing and interviewing guests. Recording, editing and uploading. Doing the write ups, show notes and promotions.
Which left precious little time for anything else in my business, especially making sales.
But a business without customers is not a business. It’s a hobby.
By launching a podcast at the wrong time in my business journey, I’d single-handedly put a marketing noose around my own neck. One that I was reluctant to back away from because I didn’t want to lose my hard-won and loyal listeners.
Saying that, if I’d had my time again I would have done exactly the same.
You see, my kids were little – aged two, four, five and six. I had two pre-schoolers at home full time, one of whom had leukaemia so I was pumping him full of chemo, and my hubby was working long hours, often away from home.
You probably think I was nuts to launch a time-consuming side hustle at such a busy and stressful time, but it was cathartic.
I was a nap-time warrior.
I’d carved out a little pocket of time for me, and me alone – and I drank up every wonderful minute of it.
From a business perspective though, it was downright STUPID.
But it took about two years for that particular penny to drop.
Oh.
A podcast is a form of marketing. And marketing is what you use to drive people to your product or service.
I get it now.
But because I hadn’t worked out a way to make money, it rendered my podcast a giant, time-sucking marketing clanger.
Sounds Captain Obvious when you’re aware of it, but I see one-woman business owners fall into this trap ALL THE TIME, usually with social media.
They launch their business by telling the world on LinkedIn or Instagram or Facebook or Pinterest …. or worse still …. all of the above – and immediately hurl themselves into the rat race of content creation.
There’s a high chance you’ve done this yourself.
But it’s all in vain if there’s no automated ‘next step’ for your prospects. Nowhere to send them. Nothing for them to do.
So you do it manually. Chasing individual leads. Endless DM-ing. Awkwardly asking people to buy (or not, as is usually the case with women because it makes us feel icky).
Yes, you might be making sales, but it’s feast or famine. When you stop reaching out, the sales dry up.
It’s exhausting and unsustainable because you’re spending more time trying to get clients than you spend serving them.
If this is happening to you, you’re not alone. It’s a common rookie mistake and I fell into the same trap too.
Starting my business by launching a podcast was completely arse-about-face. Quite frankly it was no surprise that I never sailed off into the sunset with six-figures like the gurus said I would.
In fact, I made more money in the first 35 days after launching this business – Sell More Stuff™ – than I did in years of The SuperMum Podcast …. plus it was far less work.
That’s because I now know what I’m doing.
Running a successful business all by yourself when you’re cash strapped and time poor boils down to knowing exactly what to focus on and when.
Looking back, the whole podcast experience was still a massively worthwhile experiment and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
But it was more akin to learning at University than to getting a high paying job.
I’d gained knowledge and experience of a ton of useful stuff about online business.
How to build a website. How to run an email list. How to navigate the murky and unpredictable waters of social media.
And the profit I finally did make, enabled me to pay myself back for the thousands of £££’s I’d invested in expensive online courses, like ….
Amy Porterfield’s, List Builder’s Society …
Donald Miller’s, Business Made Simple University
Jeff Walker’s, Product Launch Formula
Ramit Sethi’s, Endless Audience
…. to name but a few.
The key thing I learned from the entire 5 year podcast experience was that to create a successful business – one that makes sales – you have to strategically choose the right thing, at the right time, and do it in the right order.
Sadly, it’s not just marketing that one-woman business owners stuff up.
Each piece of the solopreneur puzzle needs to fulfil its purpose, and you’ll save yourself a whole bunch of time, money and anguish if you do it in the right order.
If you blindly clutch at the next shiny object desperately hoping that this time it will work (because they promised it would), you’re wasting your time.
In fairness, it’s not that the tactics are wrong, you just need to understand where it fits in to the big picture so you turn your attention to it at the right time.
These days I know exactly what to do.
But that’s only because I’ve learned the hard and slow way. The good news is I’m here to help you avoid the same time-consuming and costly mistakes that I made.
The even better news is that I’ve pulled together the knowledge and experience I’ve gained from running three solo businesses over the last 30 years and laid it all out in a simple-to-follow but hugely robust roadmap.
The exciting part is, my proprietary system goes beyond just making sales. It acts as a solid business model for solopreneurs, and one that you’ll use every day, forevermore.
Introducing ….

A Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ is the journey you take your prospects on from knowing nothing about you to buying all your goodies.
You transform them from Mrs Nobody > to email subscriber > to potential customer > to someone who buys (often time and again).
The Email SALES Builder is the thing that will help you achieve that.
It’s a practical, hands-on project tool that incrementally guides solopreneurs through the step-by-step process of building a Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.

M: Marketing: Get on people’s radar, and drive them to your website.
A: Above-the-Fold: Give them a warm welcome on your website homepage.
G:Gateway: Dangle a carrot and entice them onto your email list.
N: Nurture: Build a relationship – and trust – with exemplary emails (this is the bit most business owners stuff up).
E: Earn: Cha-Ching! Let your Sales Page do the talking and sell all your goodies.
T: Tighten: Always be ready to tweak, change and improve it based on what you’ve learned from your paying customers
Email SALES Builder is a structured, visual tool that guides you through the five key phases of building your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
Each phase is supported by practical instructions, insightful videos, and real life examples, allowing you to build your sales engine alongside paying customers.
The builder acts as both a practical workspace and an ongoing strategic guide that solopreneurs can return to as their business grows.
Sounds very fancy-pants, but you know me – I’m super grounded.
I’ve made sure it’s really easy to follow, and I explain everything in great detail without any jargon so you can make informed decisions about how you want your business to evolve.
Whether you’re new to business, or have been doing it for a while, the Email SALES Builder will help you build a simple, but highly effective automated sales machine that is the beating heart of every successful solo business.
As well as making sales more naturally and on repeat, you’ll have the know-how to make informed decisions before diving into specific marketing tactics that waste your time and money.
You’ll no longer be reliant on social media, get distracted by desperately chasing the latest shiny object, or become a slave to the constant content treadmill.
The hands-on workstation will guide you step-by-step through the entire process of creating a Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ in your one-woman business.
Make Email Your Best Friend
I’m not going to lie. There’s a lot of work ahead of you so please don’t buy this unless you’re ready to roll up your sleeves.
As well as creating the Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ infrastructure, your success is dependant on your willingness to regularly send emails to your list. Do it the way I teach you and the more you send, the more you’ll sell.
Seriously – Google the stats – the conversion rate for email is massive. I’ve sold to a whopping 33% of my teeny-tiny email list without so much as a whiff of social media.
Believe me, it’s by far and away THE BEST tool in a solopreneur’s arsenal when it comes to making sales.
If you’re already sending emails to your list and not getting the results, I’m sorry to say, it’s because you’re doing it wrong.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone – most people stuff it up – but through the Email SALES Builder, I’ll show you how to make it work.
This is where it gets exciting because once you start writing in a more riveting way, your emails will shine in your prospects’ otherwise dull and boring inbox.
Which means you get to smugly wipe the floor with your competition. Whilst their emails are getting deleted, yours are getting read.
And – repeat after me …..
Emails that get read, are the emails that make sales.
Let me assure you – sending emails won’t be just another thing to bog down your already overflowing to-do list. That’s because to compensate there’s a whole bunch of things you can scratch off it instead.
You get to snub that relentless ‘you must do 3 posts on social a day’ rubbish that the gurus keeps carping on about.
Not on my watch.
No blog. No podcast. No social media posts. Not unless you want to, and not until you’re ready to scale.
By being laser-focused on writing brilliant emails, you get to do away with many of these hugely time-consuming marketing tasks.
There’s a time and a place for powering up your marketing, but honestly, I want to stop you from putting a marketing noose around your own neck and become a slave to content creation like I did.
Believe me, once you’ve put your powerful Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ engine in place and can see how naturally they brings in sales, you’ll become addicted to writing emails.
In my current business I cherry-pick my marketing tactics based on what I enjoy and what I’m good at.
So rather than draining me, my marketing fills me with joy. I have a LOT of fun, plus the added bonus of making far more sales than I ever did from my podcast biz.
I consistently and quietly keep sending emails to my very tiny list, then sit back and enjoy the massively high percentage of subscribers who avidly – and consistently – become customers.
Oh the joy of having the freedom to drop the marketing ball during the school holidays if the fancy takes me. So long as I get a few emails out each week I’m good to go.
Don’t get me wrong, you can add social media, a podcast or a blog to the mix down the line (and I’ll teach you when), but you need to get the foundations right first.
The Email SALES Builder will guide you through all of this stuff, explaining each step in detail as you progress through it at your own pace.
If you want to work fast and power on through the steps to start making big money quickly, great.
But if your business is just a side hustle alongside everything else that life is throwing at you right now, then that’s fine too. No-one will be breathing down your neck cracking the whip to get it done.
Once you buy it, not only do you get access for life, but the easy-to-follow roadmap will serve you for the entire life of your solo business.
It’s a forever business model that will give you a deep understanding about how to make sales, and a flexible method of implementation for ever and ever, amen.
Whether you want a small, easy-to-manage lifestyle business with a handful of high-paying clients, or aspire to hit the big time with massive growth, fame and glory and big numbers, the choice is yours.
After you’ve implemented what I teach you in the Email SALES Builder, then (and only then) can you go on to broadening out your marking. At that stage you have my permission to chase all the bright shiny objects you want.
Fill your boots …. buy that social media course. Start a podcast. Learn how to speak on stage. Whatever takes your fancy.
Because once your sales engine is in place, these marketing activities start to work on steroids.
A massive amount of knowledge and know-how has gone into creating the Email SALES Builder which I’ve accumulated as a result of being a solopreneur for over 30 years, building, running and growing three solo businesses.
Follow my steps and do it the way I teach you, and I assure you it works. It really does.
I made almost £6k in the first 35 days after launching this business, all thanks to my high-converting Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
So no matter whether you’re in the start-up phase, have an established business but aren’t making enough sales, or are looking to scale and grow, the Email SALES Builder will meet you where you’re at and ensure your one-woman business is a roaring success.
Who is the Email SALES Builder for?
Whether you’re at the very early stages of your solo business – no website, no email list, no sales – or further along and ready to scale, this practical, hands-on project tool will serve you.
If you’re brand new to business, there’s an entire training dedicated to setting up a fast and furious basic Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
So rather than the tech being an obstacle to getting started, I’ll show you how to get a skeleton framework set up in a few short hours so you can immediately start driving people to your list.
On the other hand, if you have an established business, I’ll help you optimise your current marketing and spring clean your offerings.
Most existing businesses I see are messy and confusing to prospects, so this will give you a fresh slate from which to continue building out your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
The beauty of this is, it really doesn’t matter what stage of your business you’re at. You simply tap into the tool at the point where you’re at, add in the bits that are missing, and continue to grow a more lucrative business from there.
Whether you aspire to have a small part-time lifestyle business on the side or a huge squillion pound empire, the Email SALES Builder will take your business as far as you want it to go.
Either way, this is designed for solopreneur’s running their own show.
These simple tactics don’t rely on a team to implement them, or a big budget to support it.
Honestly, the Email SALES Builder is the smartest thing you will ever invest your time and money into. Full stop.
And who it’s NOT for ….
Creating a successful Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ as the sales engine of your business is dependant on two things.
1. Taking the time to create the infrastructure
and
2. Sending regular emails.
Although the Email SALES Builder hands you the strategy and incrementally guides you through the process, both take time, effort and creativity.
A lot of this is annoying grunt work, so you need to be ready to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
The Email SALES Builder will take your hand and be your guide, but you need to put in the work.
Being a solopreneur is not for the feint-hearted, and I’d be doing you a disservice to say this stuff is easy.
It’s actually one of my biggest bug-bears when the rich, successful pundits with their big teams try to pull the wool over your eyes by implying it’s oh so simple.
Its not.
I make it straightforward, because I teach you exactly what to do and when but success requires you to take action.
If you’re not willing to implement the things you learn, I’d honestly rather you keep your money and spend it on a nice holiday instead.
I’m not one of those hyped up gurus that suck you in with a bunch of BS claims just so I can take your hard-earned cash.
I’d rather tell-it-how-it-is so you can make a considered decision on whether this is right for you.
So here it is, both barrels.
Let’s start with the first of the two things the Email SALES Builder will get you to do.
1. Create the infrastructure.
Once you’ve got a good grasp of the framework that I show you in Phase 1 of the builder, and done the preparatory thinking in Phase 2, I’m going to help you create a rudimentary Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
If you’re completely new to business, I don’t want you to get hung up on the tech.
This is a hugely common stumbling block I see time and again, where newbie’s agonise over what to do and how to do it, sometimes for months on end.
But by the end of Phase 3, you’ll have a skeleton Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ up and running and you’ll be ready for your first test customers.
I’m a big fan of keeping costs to a minimum, but at some stage you’ll need to invest in an Email Service Provider.
I recommend Kit (affiliate link) – which offers a free plan when you first start out.
Once the subscribers start rolling in though, and you start to build out your sales engine, you’ll need to upgrade.
The good news is that if you’re a newbie as well as a tech-a-phobe, you don’t need a website.
At least, not yet.
And when you do, I’ll point you in the right direction to getting one. But don’t worry, that comes later.
The beauty of what I teach is that you start getting customers onto your email list straight away.
Those first few customers are really important in how you your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ evolves.
But as well as that, you’ll have some income coming in so you can afford to invest in a website..
If you’ve already got an established business, there’s work for you in Phase 3 too I’m afraid.
Often, more work, but you’ll reap the rewards.
I show you how to cast a critical eye on your current business and be ready to clean up, cull and reorder your marketing and your offerings.
Then the fun (and hard work) starts for newbies and veterans alike, because in Phase 4 we’re going to flesh out your skeleton Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™.
All the while you can still keep serving your customers so you’ll have money coming in tandem with building your sales machine.
Depending on how much time you put in, Phase 4 can take 6-12 months, so be ready to hunker down, get laser focused and crack on. You’ll need a big peppering of patience.
I’d love to say once it’s done it’s done, but you’ll always need to keep an eye on Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ and be ready to tweak and change it as necessary. But you’ll have broken the back of it so you can breathe out.
Finally in Phase 5 you can decide where you want your business to go. You can continue doing what you’re doing and enjoy a nice, comfortable lucrative side gig.
Otherwise I’ll show you how to ramp it up, and head towards big growth and big numbers.
Woo hoo.
OK. Let’s move on to the second critical element that’s the difference between success and failure.
2. Writing the dreaded emails.
From the word go, you need to be willing to send emails. Not just any old emails, but really good ones. Ones that people actually want to read.
Oh, and you need to make sure you send them regularly.
If you think a dull monthly round up will cut it, think again. Once a week you can kinda get away with, twice is better, but ideally 3 or more emails a week is best.
Before you whip out your credit card and buy the Email SALES Builder, this is a good moment for a reality check.
Solopreneurs have to do an awful lot of writing.
You can’t really odds it. Whether it’s emails, social media posts, website copy, sales pages, pitches – you’re going to be doing a lot of it.
I spend most of my work time writing – you literally can’t get away from it.
Saying that, writing emails is a far better return on your investment of time than writing social media posts. Best you either embrace it, or go and get a job.
I know it makes everyone shudder, especially when I say how many emails you need to send, but honestly once you see the results they get you, you’ll become addicted.
If you’re not a natural writer, I have a course called Email Blockbuster: Write Smash Hit Emails that Sell™ that you can buy as a Power-Up.
Don’t worry. Your emails don’t need to be War and Peace, short and snappy is fine.
But the more often you email your list, the better the results you’ll get.
So if you hate writing and are not willing to learn the art, I’m afraid I can’t help you (and please don’t think you can rely on AI because that will make you as bland as all the other inbox junk).
Yes, you can use AI to assist your writing (which I teach in Email Blockbuster™) – but if you think AI can do the writing itself this isn’t going to work for you.
So there you have it.
The two ‘must dos’ you need to embrace if this is going to work for you.
Honestly, your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ will only ever be as good as how well you follow the strategy and how much action you take in getting the work done.
Consider yourself told!
Right, soap box moment over, so let’s move on …..
What you’ll get ….
As soon as you sign up, you’ll get immediate access to the project management tool. It’s an interactive board so after making a copy you can customise it to make it your own.
Add, delete and tick things off the checklist, then push away tasks that you’ve completed. By doing so you’ll quickly and easily see your progress, and clearly see what you need to focus on next.
The nature of the interactive board means you’ll be guided step by step through the each step of the five phase process.
Each of the phases contain comprehensive videos explaining the purpose of the each step, and what you need to do to complete it. In the case of the tech set up, I show you exactly what you need to do with screen tutorials.
I show you how to reverse engineer the journey your customer takes from knowing nothing about you to buying all your stuff and how to cleverly guide them towards the sale.
You’ll learn what piece of the Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ to put in place and when.
It feels a bit like alphabet spaghetti because we’ll bat back and forth between the M and the A and the G and the N and the E and the T.
But never fear, there’s method in the madness because there’s always a razor-sharp strategy behind everything I teach you to do.
Here are the five phases you’ll go through:
Phase 1: Learn
Understand the Framework
Before doing any hands-on work, it’s important to understand exactly what a Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ is and how it works.
Learning includes:
🧲 Sales from Scratch™ (which is Step 1 of the 3 Steps to Sales) will explain all about it.
⛔️ Understand the critical difference between sales and marketing, which most solopreneurs just don’t understand which leaves them frantically thrashing around on social media and wondering why it’s not working.
🚂 I also show you the all-important customer journey, without which you have know idea of what you’re aiming for. This is the death of most businesses because you don’t want to make costly mistakes by going down rabbit holes that don’t let you reap the rewards.
watch time: 3 hours
Phase 2: Think
Overarching Business Decisions
In Phase 2 I’ll throw some big picture ideas at you so you can build a business that works for you, not one where you become a slave to it.
I don’t tell you what to do, instead I share insights for you to consider.
Lessons include:
🏖️ How to create a business completely and selfishly on your own terms so not only do you have a whole lot of fun and freedom, but you still make a ton of wonga ….
💪 How to confidently shrug your shoulders at the inevitable unsubscribes … how to rise above the haters who leave disparaging remarks on your social media …. and how to grow a thick skin when you’ve worked your arse off but no-one wants to buy your product ….
👹 How to tame the monster that is your to-do list, by getting a firm grasp on what your priorities are verses what’s just fluff and hype. Then you can keep those shiny objects at arms length until you need them and hunker down to the things that truly work.
🧮 A fresh new way of thinking about how much money you need to make, and want to make (there’s a big difference, you know). I also give practical advice about how to reduce financial risk and keep your spending to a minimum while you’re in the experimental start up phase. This is grounded, pragmatic advice without a whiff of any six-figure talk (unless you want it).
🫵 How to hand-pick the customers you genuinely like and are excited to work with whilst cleverly weeding out the annoying, happiness-sucking leaches. This means everyone in your world feels like a friend and comrade (yes, that’s you – you’re in my world because I like you.)
😤 And finally a demand, not a request to stop you making the huge, huge mistake that I see solopreneurs getting sucked into all the time …. one that costs them an absolute screaming fortune. Yep. I’m putting my foot down on this one.
Watch Time: 2.5 hours
Phase 3: Prepare
Pave the Way for Success
Phase 3 prepares you for the building out your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™ in the next phase.
🥇 You’ll start by learning the tricks of the email-writing trade so your subscribers are itching to read your emails first, rather than ignoring them or unsubscribing.
🤷♀️ Plus, you’ll never be left wondering what to write about because I’ll share a strategy that means you’ll have more ideas than time to write them.
Next we split into two groups – new business owners, and existing business owners.
Chances are you fall somewhere in between.
The beauty of the Email SALES Builder is that it meets you where you’re at and you can take it from there.
👜 If you have a completely new biz, I take you software shopping and explain what to choose amongst the myriad of different options. We’ll get you sorted with email software, a website (if you want one), and a business email.
😩 Next we face the dreaded tech set up. But don’t panic because I’ll guide you step by step showing you behind the scenes of my own set up. I don’t want this to create a barrier to you getting started as I so often see with solopreneurs.
🚗 You need something to sell. If you’re new to business, you’ll create a minimum viable product so you have something to sell straight away.
If you have an existing business we pull on our rubber gloves and have a good old spring clean. I’ll help you sort out your suite of offerings to make sure your customers needs are met whilst being aligned with the work you love.
🎶 I teach you how to get customers to write testimonials and in a way which is actually useful. Learn how and where to display them to maximise their value.
💥 You only have one shot at a first impression but I’ll make sure new prospects know they’re in the right place when they first hit your website …
🔑 …. and well as make them eager to join your email list. You’ll create a simple way to get entice new subscribers to sign up which we can flesh out later.
🤗 Your first email is of huge importance so I’ll teach you how to make it count. We’re training new subscribers to read whilst they’re ripe and ready, and eager to hear what you have to say.
☕️ Next, the most important lesson in the entire phase. I share my secret high-impact formula to getting subscribers to know, like and trust you … and fast. This relationship makes them far more likely to buy.
🦆 Finally, we talk marketing starting with getting your digital promotional materials sorted, plus a few physical ones if you qualify around my strict rules.
🍎 All the while I’ll show you how to attract new prospects to start to build your email list by picking the lowest hanging fruit, drive them into your world and become loyal customers.
Importantly, you’ll learn the key critical things to focus on, and I’m very ardent about what you should be leaving until later so you don’t get distracted.
New or existing, by the end of the phase you’ll have paved the way for building out your full Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™
WATCH TIME: 5 HOURS
IMPLEMENTATION: 2-4 weeks
Phase 4: BuilD
Create your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·™
This is where the fun starts because in Phase 4, it’s time to flesh out your rudimentary framework to create a sales engine that will serve you for the lifetime of your business.
I’ll take you through each part of the build, starting with the most important and necessary things first.
🔥 You’ll gain a shrewd UNDERSTANDING of how pivotal your Welcome Sequence emails are, and learn how to create an automation that goes way beyond the bog standard ‘wisdom’ that most copy-and-paste business coaches share.
🍭 Plot out your website so – first and foremost – it’s optimised to collect email addresses … but then goes on to work alongside your regular emails to support making lots of nice juicy sales.
🎣 Create a personalised opt in process, so new subscribers are already eating out of your hand before your first email even plops into their inbox.
🎯 Design a no-brainer lead magnet so prospects will rip your hand off and excitedly hand over their email address before they even realised what happened.
💰 Learn a high-level sales page structure, to get a broad idea of what information to include and what goes where. You’ll also learn what software to use to create a seamless payment experience so cash flows in automatically.
📣 You’ll learn a sneaky marketing trick to build your email list that will give you a massive return on your investment of time. This is something most solopreneurs totally miss (or don’t think they’re worthy of), but will sky-rocket your business real quick. Whilst all the other fools are frantically trying to beat the social media algorithms, we’ll short-cut making your name synonymous with your field of expertise.
🐷 Discover how to get under the noses of other people’s audiences so you can gain credibility by piggybacking off of their well-established trust …. and their far larger list of subscribers
Be warned. This stage can take 6-12 months depending on how much time you can dedicate to it.
Don’t worry. All the while you’ll be attracting, welcoming and serving your customers so you’ll still make money in tandem with building your sales machine.
By the end of this phase, your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T· will be up and running and fully tested.
Implementation time: 6-12 months
Phase 5: Grow
Rinse and Repeat
Phase 5 starts with a big decision. To grow or not to grow.
Rather than being pulled along in the six-figure tide, you can decide exactly whether you want to expand, and if so, to what extent.
🌱 I’ll help you make informed decisions about whether to expand your suite of products and services, and if so, what would suit you and your audience best.
⛲️ If you decide to power on, I’ll tell you about the types of products and services that will support your growth, including passive and semi-passive income streams, evergreen products and group programmes.
🤩 Next you’ll ramp up your marketing to grow your email list. At this stage I give you full permission to use social media (if you want to). You’ll learn what types of marketing that will serve you best in this growth phase, so you can head towards six-figures and beyond should you wish.
🦸♀️ If you want sales on repeat you’ll need an automated email eco-system, and I’ll show you behind the scenes of mine to give you inspiration for your own business.
Email SALES Builder alumni will then be eligible to buy my mastermind program “List. Launch. Loot™“, where you can create and build courses or programmes, and learn how to sell them and you create through successful email launches.
Implementation: for the life of your business

For me, this is one of my favourite parts, so rather that being an elusive persona, I’m down and dirty with my clients helping them build a business that works for them.
To that end, there are lots of ways I’m here to support you.
1. I give you my WhatsApp number
The Email SALES Builder came about because I found myself telling my clients the same information on repeat.
The problem was, I had so many details and insights to share, I couldn’t possibly convey it all in a single call or group session, so I decided to record everything I know and put it into the builder.
I’ve ordered it in a very logical way, and put everything into bite-sized and understandable chunks to make it easy for you to progress incrementally, ticking things off as you go.
But comprehensive as it is, they’ll always be questions and I like to make myself available to answer them.
But rather than have some impersonal bot, or an automated help desk where they pretend to care, you get me at the other end of WhatsApp.
I genuinely enjoy being able to personally help, and regularly send audios to my customers to answer any incidental questions.
Obviously, I need to know you’ve watched the videos – I’m not going to do the teaching all over again – but I’m here for any trifling queries you may have.
And even if you don’t have any, I really enjoy hearing how you’re getting on, the progress you’re making or any feedback you have so I can continue to make the Email SALES Builder even better.
(I been known to add entire new sections to videos if something comes to light that I hadn’t considered or a customer shares an insight I think is worth sharing with everyone else.)
2. Access to Work O’Clock
Work O’Clock is a quiet co-working space that I host on Zoom for an hour each weekday.
Whilst it’s free to anyone on my email list, I created it with Email SALES Builder clients in mind so many of the women on the call are working towards the same goals.
It’s very casual. Just join the WhatsApp group to get notified of the weekday call times, and simply show up as and when you please.
Although we say just a quick hello and goodbye and get our heads down for an honest hour of work, there’s a certain magic in working alongside other one-women business owners.
“I don’t know why, but I always get more done” is the most common feedback I get.
The low level accountability of knowing other women are also working towards their business goal seems to spur everyone on, including me.
Plus, you have a contact list of other solopreneurs if you want to go off and develop accountability partnerships.
The WhatsApp group, where I post the work schedule and share the Zoom link, is set to admin only (aka me), so it doesn’t get too noisy and annoying
But on the 9th of each month, I remove admin restrictions for the Noisy 9th, so you can chat and make connections with other women in the group.
Just like with our WhatsApp communications, I love having the human contact each weekday to know I’m not alone in my business.
3. Live with Lisa
If you like lots of interaction, you’ll love this.
Live with Lisa is a 90 minute Zoom call with a maximum of 12 other solo business women where we talk freely about all things business.
I used to have a topic lined up, but quite frankly, everyone had so much to discuss the conversation is buoyant enough.
And even if you don’t have anything to say, ask or share, just being on the call and absorbing all the information will be massively helpful to you.
As part of the Email SALES Builder you get one free spot on a call of your choice, but you’re free to buy additional tickets if you wish.
4. Solo-Biz Club
The Solo-Biz Club is a low-cost, but committed monthly membership for one-woman business owners.
It’s not included in the price, but you can join at the checkout, or become a member later if you wish.
We come together for a 90-minute call each month to share wins, talk about our progress and ask business-related questions.
Outside of that there’s the dedicated WhatsApp group where friendships form and members can break off into accountability groups if they wish.
It’s not a noisy group, but we’re all there for each other whenever the need calls.
Each pod has no more than 12 women so we get to know each other deeply and journey together through our respective businesses.
5. Personal 1-2-1 Support
At salient points during the build process, I offer specific, personalised feedback as an optional add on.
These paid-for add ons are only available when you hit certain milestones in the Email SALES Builder.
I need to see that you’ve put into place the things I’ve taught you in the videos.
The videos are for learning. The personalised feedback is to fine-tune what you’ve created to see if I can help you optimise it.
You get far better value from my expensive personal support if you’ve already implemented the work from the videos so you have a sound knowledge from which to base out conversations.
There are three types of personalised feedback, which are available to Email SALES Builder students only:
1. Dr Critiques: Screen recorded feedback to check specific parts of your Sales M·A·G·N·E·T·
2. Sales M·A·G·N·E·T· Audit: Complete feedback for all of your work
3. 60-Minutes with Lisa York: An hour of my undivided attention to help where necessary. 50% off for Email SALES Builder students.
